Given the nature of the business Health and Safety is our number one priority at Scaffolding South West we recognise our responsibility to safeguard the health and safety of our workers our customers to the public contractors and all work forces involved in the construction industry. 

To ensure we are fully compliant with the latest Health and Safety regulations and current working practices , Scaffolding South West employ a specialist health and safety officer who inspects our sites and trains our men and is highly experienced and knowledgeable in NEBOSH qualification. 

Dependent on the nature of the contract or the site either formal or informal risk assesments are undertaken for every job these risk assessments identity all hazards and defines existing and additional control methods needed to minimise the associated risks .  It is important to remember that Clients also play an important role in ensuring that site conditions are as safe as practicable and that control measures that they are responsible for are in place all scaffolding erected by Scaffolding South West will comply with all current health and safety standards as defined by HSE and other controlling authorities.  Scaffolding South West is fully insured and has current public liability cover of £5 million, a copy of our insurance certificate can be supplied upon request .  Please note there are scaffolding companies operating with no insurance cover and you may be liable for financial consequences to you in the event of something going wrong so please check any company quoting for works meet legislative requirements .
